We aim to cultivate human resources for establishing service design models and solving local social problems. We aim to train service designer in the five competencies of:
- Empathy : Ability to empathize with the needs of stakeholders.
- Adaptation : Ability to make reasonable and logical adjustments.
- Expression : Ability to express through creative visual language.
- Planning : Ability to plan and guide teams with leadership qualities.
- Analysis : Scientific and logic-based analysis capability.
Various social innovations have been spreading over the past decade, and it can be seen that the regional innovation model through non-profit organizations and community networks is more productive and sustainable compared to government and corporate-led social structures.
In other words, a social innovation model is spreading amidst the complexity of society. It is a bottom-up approach led by citizens and local communities that builds on service design methods and models for solving various community problems using creative thinking.

In addition, in accordance with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism Act (Act No. 16047, 2018. 12. 24), it contributes to enhancing national and regional identity and dignity and increasing the people's cultural enjoyment by determining necessary matters for improving cultural publicity and aesthetics.
